SCHOOL RULES

  1. Every student should carry the almanac to school every, day.
  2. Almanac should have student's photograph duly pasted with complete identity information and duly signed by the parents / guardian.
  3. Changing classrooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
  4. Students found tampering with the school records (e.g, marks allotted by the teachers in tests /exams etc.) are liable to strict disciplinary action.
  5. Students should get their hair cut at regular intervals. (Not applicable to sikh students)
  6. Students are expected to respect the property of others. They should show respect for school property also and no student should damage any school funiture, write or draw any thing on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or the Principal. Any damage done will have to be made good by the students.
  7. Student who brings any kind of electronic gadget/instrument to school which can cause harm or damage to school personnel or property will be subject to strict disciplinary action as per the school rules.
  8. Indira Gandhi Public School students should observe polite behaviour wherever they go. They/ should always remember that the school is judged by the behaviour of its students. Bullying and using foul language are punishable offences.
  9. Since it is a co-ed. school, it is expected that students behave in a manner which brings good name to the school community, They should not indulge in any kind of anti-social activity inside or outside the school.
  10. The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against any student whose conduct is harmful to other students.
  11. Parents / guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in the classrooms.
  12. As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not go on a half day or take leave for any period. No student will be allowed to go home during school hours , without written permission of the Principal.
  13. Indira Gandhi Public School provides education from Nursery to Class XII. Therefore, it is expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection by their seniors.while the juniors should show all respect and obedience to their seniors
